We are a specialist operator of recycling centres on behalf of local authorities helping them to deliver their environmental commitment to recycling.

Our site locations ensure easy access for the benefit of the community and make recycling a pleasant and easy activity. Each site layout varies but all aim to collect at least 20 different waste streams. We operate a ‘meet and greet’ gate arrival process that assists people in deciding how best to separate and segregate waste.

We are one of the most successful waste management companies in the UK in terms of achieving high levels of recycling at the sites we operate.

In a recent study analysing the recycle rates for recycling centres across the 123 English Authorities, Environmental Waste Controls  operated four contracts in the top 10 for recycling performance and every contract we have is in the top 20%.

Our teams of advisers are passionate about recycling and reusing waste and we pride ourselves on providing a high quality service at all times.

When you visit our site you are likely to meet one or more of our advisers - they all wear a hi-visibility uniform and name badges.  Our facilities use very clear signs and a numbering system to direct you.  If in doubt, ask and we will tell you how to dispose of your waste.

Our sites handle all types of waste and we endeavour to keep our facilities clean and safe.

Remember that sites can get very busy with customer vehicles entering, leaving and manoeuvreing - please take care and follow signs and instructions very carefully.  Look after children if they accompany you to site and keep any pets secure in your vehicle.

For your safety and security, most sites are equipped with CCTV Monitoring and automated number plate recognition (ANPR) 24 hours, 7 days a week.
