Health and Safety

Within our Health and Safety Policy we have committed to honour our statutory obligations under relevant health and safety legislation, so as to satisfy the needs and expectations of our business, employees, visitors and customers, while at the same time taking into account the needs of the community as a whole.

We will continue to compare and improve our safety performance based on legislation guidance and industry standards. We will also take into account the performance output of comparable businesses within our industry including the adoption of best practice.

We encourage our employees and interested parties to develop a positive and active role in the decision making process by involving them in the implementation of the health and safety management system.

Our objectives will be achieved by:

 Seeking at all times to provide safe working procedures, good working conditions and a  healthy environment so far, as is reasonably practicable.

Informing Employees of potential Hazards associated with the activities of the company and their duties in respect to company activities.

Providing training and instruction to employees to perform their duties in a safe and efficient manner

Providing and displaying such written instructions as are necessary to assist in the regulation of safe practice and operation

Providing a means of consultation on health and safety matters for all employees

Promoting the maximum individual attention and effort on the part of employees at all levels to avoid and prevent accidents.

As a result of this involvement, we believe we will help develop a positive and pro-active safety culture, based on the co-operation and understanding of our workforce.

We encourage and support safe working conditions and manage risks and hazards so far as is reasonably practicable.
