» Environmental Waste Controls Limited Board Appointment

EWC, a leading recycling and waste management business that specialises in achieving significant results and minimising their customers’ carbon footprint and, therefore, does not operate landfill, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bill Shaw as a non-executive Director with immediate effect.

Mr Shaw (aged 51) is a Chartered Chemist and is a highly experienced and regarded executive manager within the regulated business of United Utilities plc in North West England. He has substantial knowledge of the water industry and has various roles within UU over the last 3 decades which include asset management, capital programme delivery, customer service and business change. He is currently Wastewater Operations Director leading a team of over 1200 people and controlling an operating budget in excess of £150m per annum.
