Environmentally Sound : Waste is securely stored away from the elements of; vagrants, vermin, vandals.
No Purchase Required : There is no need to buy the equipment to realise the cost savings and environmental benefits.
Guaranteed Savings : Environmental Waste Controls will commit to a 5 years contract to provide the services above, for less than your projected annual waste spend each year at a fixed cost agreed with you.
Duty of Care : German waste handling equipment is built to comply with European waste legislation which is not only strict, but is also policed more thoroughly than in the UK.
Less Administration : Environmental Waste Controls will take care of compliance with the Packaging Directive, ensure that accurate payments are made to the Landfill Tax, as well as providing all duty of care documentation, invoices and payments from and to various suppliers.
Waste Projection : Planning five years ahead requires a high degree of accuracy on which to base the contract price. It also requires elements of flexibility to account for changes in waste volume and or inflationary and or tax increases (e.g.1996 Landfill Tax).
Contract Price Accuracy : Current waste volumes will be assessed by one of our experienced account managers to decide how many empties of the German waste equipment will be experienced per annum. If the current system includes compacting then the weight of the waste in the existing containers, weighed at the landfill site, will be used to arrive at this figure. An element of contingency will be added onto the number of lifts per year of not less than 5% to provide the customer with an added degree of comfort. The contract price will depend upon the capital cost of the equipment we will purchase and the cost and number of empties of the equipment and will therefore vary greatly from site to site. However as a guideline we will be able to reduce existing waste costs by not less than 10% per annum.
Contract Term : The contracts will run for five years to cover the capital outlay but can run longer or can be extended during the contract term should the customer require. Payment will be required quarterly in advance.
Contract Calculation : The annual contract value will be divided by the number of agreed lifts including the contingency lifts to get an all in lift price. A mutually agreed lift weight minimum will be calculated and tested and written into the contract to prevent more lifts per annum than contracted for. An additional optional cost will be incurred should the customer not have adequate equipment insurance.
Increased Waste Production : If the number of lifts is greater than contracted for and the minimum weight of all lifts is reached then the annual waste production has increased and extra lifts will be charged to reflect this. If the increase is significant and prolonged then a new calculation and contract can be negotiated to reduce the lift price based on higher volumes. Should the increase in waste production warrant more investment then this will be made by Environmental Waste Controls ltd and the previous equipment removed.
Inflation/Taxes etc. : Annual increases in disposal costs are levied by Waste Contractors and Landfill Sites. They are usually in line with inflation and in most cases will be swallowed up due to Environmental Waste Controls purchasing power with same. However there may be instances where this cost may have to be passed onto the customer.
Summary : We source the most efficient waste handling machinery in Europe from AJK and Husmann. As well as having access and purchasing power to some of the lowest lift prices in the UK, through daily negotiations with national and regional waste contractors. We are confident with achieving significant savings on your waste budget.
